These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PointlessButton ("the Game", "our Service", "this magnificent creation"). By creating an account, clicking our button, or even just staring at it longingly, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

We may update these Terms occasionally. We'll notify you of significant changes, and your continued use after changes means you accept them. (We promise not to sneak in anything evil.)

• • You must be at least 13 years old to use PointlessButton
• • In certain EU countries, the minimum age is 16 years old per local regulations
• • If you're under 18, please ensure you have parental/guardian consent
• • By using the Service, you confirm you meet these age requirements

You can create an account using social login (Google, Facebook, Discord, GitHub, Twitter/X, Twitch, Steam). Here's the deal:

• ✓ Username: 3-20 characters, letters, numbers, and underscores only
• ✓ Profile: Avatar, country, bio (100 chars max), timezone
• ⚠ Username changes: 2-week cooldown between changes
• ✕ Multiple accounts: Not allowed (it's cheating!)

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately via Support Tickets.

PointlessButton is a button-clicking game where you earn virtual currency called PBits. Here's how it works:

• • Daily Limit: 1,000 pushes per day (patience, grasshopper)
• • Streaks: Consecutive days of clicking = bonus multipliers
• • Statistics: We track your pushes, combos, PPS (Pushes Per Second), and best day
• • Leaderboards: Global, country, and category rankings
• • Challenges: Complete special objectives for bonus rewards
• • PPS (Pushes Per Second): Speed-clicking mini-game with its own leaderboard
• • Lobbies: Private rooms to play and compete with friends
• • Hall of Fame: Top players recognized and celebrated each season

PointlessButton runs competitive seasons with division-based rankings:

• • Seasons: Time-limited competitive periods with leaderboard rankings
• • Divisions: Skill-based tiers that determine your ranking bracket
• • Rewards: Season rewards and Hall of Fame eligibility for top performers
• • Resets: Seasonal statistics reset between seasons; lifetime stats are preserved

You can optionally purchase PBits packages with real money. This is entirely optional - you can play forever for free!

• • All prices in EUR (regional pricing may apply based on your country)
• • Payments processed securely by Stripe - we never see your card details
• • All purchases are final (subject to Stripe's refund policy for errors)
• • By purchasing, you acknowledge PBits have no cash value

The Store offers cosmetic items you can purchase with PBits:

• • Buttons: Different button styles and effects
• • Avatars: Profile pictures to show off
• • Featured Items: Daily rotation of special items
• • Gifts: You can gift items to other players!

Important: All items are cosmetic only. They do not provide any gameplay advantage - that would be very un-pointless of us.

By using PointlessButton, you agree NOT to:

• ✕ Use bots, auto-clickers, scripts, or any automation tools
• ✕ Create multiple accounts or share accounts
• ✕ Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities (report them instead - we'll love you!)
• ✕ Harass, threaten, or be mean to other users
• ✕ Use offensive usernames or profile content
• ✕ Attempt to hack, disrupt, or damage our service
• ✕ Sell, trade, or transfer accounts or PBits

Violations may result in cooldowns, account suspension, or permanent termination. We reserve the right to take action at our discretion.

Your button-clicking journey may end in these cases:

• • By you: You can delete your account anytime in Settings (GDPR-compliant)
• • By us: For Terms violations, Fair Play breaches, or at our discretion with notice
• • Refunds: No refunds for purchased PBits on terminated accounts

• • PointlessButton, including all code, graphics, sounds, and content, is our intellectual property
• • Your account grants you a limited license to use the service - you don't own anything
• • PBits and virtual items are licensed, not sold or owned
• • You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer our stuff
